The album launch for Games We Play at Burdock on February 10th, 2018 was a great success, with a packed house of friends and fans that came out despite (or maybe because of) another Toronto snow storm. Our very special guest, Lain Gray, who came up from the warmer climes of Houston, Texas to perform an opening set and sing a duet with Jen on “Jerusalem Fields” (a track on Games We Play) and onan even newer Shiner tune, “Dedicated Love” (not yet recorded). With the tastiest Games We Play cheesecake and a backgammon set door prize, the celebratory evening also included more special guests. The no-longer-so-minor Shiners Hannah and Manny, joined their mom on “When Her Century Ends” – a song written for Jen’s Grandmother Vera Schaffer, who died a few years ago near her 100 year mark! Thanks so much to Charles Gravely and Josh Moshenberg for capturing the night with these pictures!
